Sugar Pine Realty-Better Homes & Gardens has four offices throughout Tuolumne County to help homeowners market their property, and is the only real estate office in the county authorized to use the Better Homes & Gardens name."Better Homes & Gardens is a great name for us," said owner Emmett Brennan, "because it typifies what we do. Emmett started Sugar Pine Realty in a small building in Sugar Pine in 1977. The company franchised with Better Homes & Gardens in 1985.

Sun Stereo will be at the Home and Garden Show demonstrating integrated sound systems for cars and boats and a full range of car alarm and keyless entry systems.
Curt Cook bought Sun Stereo from Ed Sunday of Sun Waelty Auto Service a year ago.
Cook had been manager of Simply Country Furniture for six years and was looking for a business of his own when he heard Sun Stereo was available.
He moved the business to a larger location, in the corner of Timberhills shopping center next to Full O' Beans, and has an indoor installation bay in addition to a large showroom.
Jacob Foyada manages the business, and Heath Vanderpool is the installer.
"We can do everything from keyless entries to full blown car alarms," said Cook. "We offer a lifetime warranty on all installations."
