Furniture and accessories calls for a browsing tour
Mother Lode Internet, the first Internet provider in Tuolumne County, is still a family-owned-and-operated business that plans to keep its focus on the Mother Lode.
Although Dennis and Brenda Dahlin have incorporated the business, they remain the only stockholders.

Nestled among Murphys Creek on Highway 4 in Murphys, Home Outfitters aims to be a "destination" store unlike any other in the Mother Lode.
"You will find it worthy of an outing if you seek the unique in shopping experiences," said Brenda Rankin, owner of the store.
Shoppers are likely to recognize the creekside location because owners Brenda and Dan Rankin built a sizable following there as Oak Expressions, and for the past year and a half, Murphys Home Outfitters has continued that tradition of quality and excellence.
The store features top quality furniture which includes Mission style and Amish-crafted pieces in pine, oak and cherry wood as well as a large selection of upholstery styles in fine fabrics and leathers.
"In addition to traditional items," said Brenda, "we offer unique furniture and accessories that are not seen in every furniture store."
Home accessories and gifts are in abundance to add the final touches to any room, and an important new service this year is a bridal registry.
Also new this year is an area rug program with a range of styles and sizes -- up to full room size -- including many "design-your-own" choices.
The same friendly faces, Beverly Brodie and Margie Azzaro, are still on hand to help customers with style choices, fabric selections and other decorating needs, and two new faces, Tina Rankin and Wyatt Collins, are new additions to the staff.
This marks the Rankins' 11th year as Home and Garden Show participants.
