Hibernation keeps expanding
Steve Souders of Sonora will demonstrate the Host Dry Chemical Carpet Cleaning Process at the Home and Garden Show.
He will also have a display of 1998 Patriot High Performance Cleaning Machines and lots of information.
He said the Patriot cleaning machines are a high technology replacement for modern day vacuum cleaners.
IN FRONT OF A SPA ENCLOSURE ARE assistant manager Karen Quinlin and owner Dale Cannon.
This is the 12th year Hibernation Home Concepts has participated in the Home and Garden Show.
During that time the business has grown from selling just stoves to stoves and spas, then adding patio furniture. More gifts and home decor items have been added each year.
But the business hasn't forgotten its beginnings.
People have more choices these days in what fuels they use to create esthetically pleasing warmth in their homes, and Hibernation Home Concepts is keeping up with the latest.
At the Home and Garden Show, owners Dale and Marcella Cannon and their staff will have displays and demonstrations of the newest innovations in stoves and fireplaces, along with Sundance spas and patio furniture.
With the advent of new, efficient propane-fueled stoves and fireplaces, more and more people have chosen the convenience and neatness of being able to turn on the stove rather than haul wood.
"The Great Stove Change Out," a nationwide effort encouraging people to upgrade from their inefficient stoves to today's Environmental Protection Agency-certified, energy efficient models, was very successful this year, said Cannon.
"Many inefficient stoves were taken out of circulation," he said.
Today's wood-burning stoves and fireplaces are extremely efficient and clean burning, said Cannon.
Hibernation has been serving Tuolumne County for almost 12 years. Cannon is a licensed contractor and has his own installation crew.
"I think I have the best installation crew in the county," he said. "I get letters all the time from customers telling me how neat and professional my crew is."
