Tubular skylights highlighted
Steve Souders of Sonora will demonstrate the Host Dry Chemical Carpet Cleaning Process at the Home and Garden Show.
He will also have a display of 1998 Patriot High Performance Cleaning Machines and lots of information.
He said the Patriot cleaning machines are a high technology replacement for modern day vacuum cleaners.
THE GAESTEL FAMILY -- Krystana, Alex, Dekker and Daniel Gaestel live in Merced with their pets. Dekker distributes his tubular skylights in Tuolumne, Stanislaus, Merced, Mariposa and Fresno counties.
Dekker Gaestel has been in the construction business for more than 20 years, and became the distributor for Solatube three years ago.
He sells and installs the solar tubular skylights for new home construction, commercial buildings, remodels and mobile homes.
Tubular Skylights are daylighting devices that capture and diffuse sunlight using a highly technical approach to engineering, design and manufacturing.
The range of diffuser and trim options offered includes curved prismatic for broad light diffusion, frosted flush-profile with gold, silver or white trim, and a dual-glazed diffuser for greater insulation from extreme temperatures.
Solatube was originally developed in Australia in 1989 as the world's first tubular skylight. Within a year, it became that country's top-selling skylight. It has been manufactured in the United States since 1992.
At the Home and Garden Show, in addition to information about the innovative daylight and ventilation systems, he will have a trailer where people can go inside to see how the light works.
Gaestel has owned his general construction and remodeling business since 1988.
