Energy Emporium warms the winter
Steve Souders of Sonora will demonstrate the Host Dry Chemical Carpet Cleaning Process at the Home and Garden Show.
He will also have a display of 1998 Patriot High Performance Cleaning Machines and lots of information.
He said the Patriot cleaning machines are a high technology replacement for modern day vacuum cleaners.
Keeping people warm on cold winter nights has been the business of Energy Emporium for 10 years, and now a full line of Superior brand spas has been added to firm's offerings.
Owner Dan Timko will have a spa at the Home and Garden Show, along with a working exhibit of pellet-fueled and propane-fueled stoves.
Energy Emporium has a showroom at 13613-A Tuolumne Road, at the corner of Highway 108 and Tuolumne Road. Dan is a licensed contractor and does his own installations and service on both stoves and spas.
In-home estimates and help deciding what is needed and where it would go best in the home are among the services offered.
Timko is especially impressed by propane-fueled stoves on the market these days because they work when the power is out, something that isn't true of pellet-fueled stoves, which are electronically ignited.
And he said customers don't sacrifice atmosphere for the convenience of propane. They can buy models that look exactly like a wood-burning stove with a glass door, or that look like a fireplace.
Timko still carries quality wood-burning stoves for those who prefer cutting or buying their own firewood, and he carries a selection of pellet-fueled stoves.
Timko founded Energy Emporium after moving here from Redwood City, where he had installed wood-burning stoves for retail stores since 1980.
He and his wife Sandy have two children, Ashley, 11, and Dan Jr., 9.
