Experience counts in pest control
THE ANCHOR TEAM includes (from left): Standing -- Ray Cloud, Peter Greenberg, Donna Swartz, Don Wolf and Laura Copus; kneeling -- Ken Allen, Bob Ostoich and Scott Stitham.
For more than two decades, Anchor Pest Control has protected thousands of families and businesses from the variety of pests found in this area.
Experienced technicians and their use of the newest technology have contributed to the company's success, said owner Don Wolf. He credits the company's tremendous growth over the past few years to customer loyalty and satisfaction.
"We appreciate our customers and strive to serve them," he said.
The locally owned and operated company controls pests in Tuolumne County, as well as Calaveras, Amador, El Dorado, Alpine, San Joaquin, Merced and Stanislaus counties.
Alternate-monthly, monthly and quarterly service programs are available that are guaranteed to control pest problems. Technicians give free estimates, and under a service agreement, problems that arise between regularly scheduled services are handled free of charge.
"Safety and environmental protection are paramount to the company," said Wolf, "so our technicians are continually receiving safety training and information on improved application techniques."
Ray Cloud, route supervisor, said: "My philosophy is to provide the highest quality service to our customers. Because I believe in customer satisfaction, I make special efforts to employ only friendly and knowledgeable service technicians who will spend time explaining insect biology and control measures."
Weed control is also available. The crew specializes in roadside control, fire breaks and acreage weed control.
Estimates are free, and a single treatment at the right time of the year will control most weeds and grasses.
Questions about getting service started can be answered by Donna Swartz, office manager.
Brochures and information will be available in the company's exhibit at the Home and Garden Show.
Several drawings will be held for Anchor Pest Control T-shirts and clocks. The major drawing of the weekend will be for a year of free pest control service, valued at up to $380.
