People get help into homes

AMBECK MORTGAGE ASSOCIATES will be represented at the show by (from left) Gail Rea, Sally Dunn and Michelle Camacho.

Ambeck Mortgage Associates will feature home improvement loans at the Home and Garden Show.

In the Ambeck booth will be: Sally Dunn, loan officer and branch manager; Michelle Camacho, loan officer, and Gail Rea, loan processor.

They will talk about the firm's first goal, which is to simplify the process of home loans for their clients.

"Each loan is different because no two people have the same circumstances," said Dunn. "It's our job to get the loan that fits your needs."

They do that by researching the fluctuating financial market every day for the best rates and terms.

Ambeck Mortgage Associates incorporated in February 1988 and was established as a mortgage banker and mortgage banking operation in July 1989.

The corporate officers and management staff have a combined mortgage lending experience of more than 80 years.

The goal was to establish a locally owned and operated mortgage banking operation with a friendly family feel, with all the status and expertise of a national operation.

In addition to the Sonora branch, which was opened March 18, 1996, the firm has corporate headquarters in Modesto and a branch in Turlock.

It offers fixed rate mortgages, adjustable rate mortgages, buydowns (where people pay higher discount points to get lower interest rates), first-time home buyer programs, construction loans and acquisition-improvement loans.

Ambeck maintains approval status for loans through the Federal Housing Administration and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

It is a member of Mortgage Bankers of America, National Federation of Independent Business, the Building Industry of California and Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce. It has been a licensed broker with the Department of Real Estate since 1989 and is an affiliate member of the Tuolumne County Association of Realtors.
